NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program Opens Applications for 2027–2028

Support for Doctoral Research in AI and Advanced Computing

The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program provides grants, mentoring and technical support to doctoral students conducting outstanding research related to NVIDIA technology. Now in its 26th year, the program is accepting applications from students around the world.

The program supports research in areas including:

• Artificial intelligence and machine learning
• Autonomous vehicles
• Computer graphics
• Robotics
• Healthcare
• High-performance computing
• Related fields involving NVIDIA technology

Fellowship awards provide up to $60,000 per student.

NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program Highlights

Since its inception in 2002, the NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program has awarded more than 220 grants worth approximately $8 million.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have completed at least the first year of doctoral-level study at the time of application.

Application Deadline and Internship Requirement

The application deadline for the 2027–2028 academic year is October 30, 2026.

Selected candidates must complete an in-person internship at an NVIDIA research office before the fellowship year. Qualified applicants should be available for summer 2027 internships.
