ChatGPT Work Outage Causes Errors and Delays for Users
ChatGPT Work is experiencing a partial outage, leaving users on multiple subscription plans unable to start new tasks or continue existing ones.
The ChatGPT Work outage began on Monday, August 31, at approximately 11:04 a.m. ET. Users are reporting increased delays, errors, and problems accessing Work mode.
ChatGPT Plus subscribers appear to be particularly affected, as Work mode is currently unavailable for some users.
Affected users may be unable to launch new tasks or resume tasks that are already running in ChatGPT Work because of ongoing errors and service delays.
OpenAI has acknowledged the incident on its official status page and says it is working on a resolution.
According to OpenAI, users are experiencing an increase in errors across the affected services. The company also confirmed that ChatGPT Plus users are particularly impacted because Work mode is currently unavailable for some accounts.
“Users across multiple subscription plans may be unable to start or continue tasks in ChatGPT Work. We continue to work on mitigations,” OpenAI said in its latest update.
OpenAI first confirmed the ChatGPT Work service disruption at approximately 11:04 a.m. ET, reporting that users were experiencing delays in the affected services.
As of 12:02 p.m. ET, the outage remained ongoing. OpenAI said users on multiple subscription plans may still be unable to start or continue ChatGPT Work tasks while engineers work on mitigation measures.
