Google held a presentation where it presented several new devices. In addition to them, the American company presented a new version of the operating system – Android 14.
As stated by the Google company, every year they strive to provide an upgrade to the operating system for Android devices that will significantly improve the user experience. With a big focus on customization, control and improved accessibility features, Android 14 is here.
The main focus is adaptation, ie. the personalization. While iOS aims to offer a similar experience to all users, Android promises an even more personalized experience. Thus, users of the Android 14 upgrade will have even more customization options, in order to further improve the experience of using the device.
So now Material UI is on an even higher level. With the Android 14 upgrade, users can set custom shortcuts on the lock screen, allowing quick access to their favorite apps and features.
