In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, NASA has unveiled a striking red, white, and blue livery on two of its most iconic aircraft. These patriotic planes will soar over Washington, D.C., along with other NASA aircraft on July 4, 2026.
The F-15s and F/A-18s at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, California, have been freshly painted in these vibrant colors, symbolizing a tribute to both history and the future.
This commemorative red, white, and blue livery, accompanied by the Freedom 250 logo, will adorn the aircraft until at least next year. Don’t miss your chance to see them at local airshows or events!
