The EMA platform represents Range Rover’s third electric architecture, following the MLA utilized in the standard Range Rover and the JEA platform under development by Jaguar for the upcoming Type 01. Much like the Range Rover GT, Jaguar’s model is also a stylish four-door grand tourer set to launch this year.
Range Rover unveiled the GT’s interior to Ars, which dramatically differentiates it from the brand’s traditional SUVs. It boasts an ultra-minimalist design while adhering to safety regulations across Europe that mandate the existence of physical controls for essential functions. Thankfully, Range Rover designers opted out of adding a third screen for the passenger side, instead offering dual OLED displays for the main instrument and infotainment systems. Additionally, a head-up display comes standard in the GT.
