Claude Marketplace Launches With More Than 2,000 AI Connectors, Plugins and Agents
Anthropic has launched the Claude Marketplace, a new hub for discovering AI-related tools that work with Claude, including connectors, plugins, agents, and other Claude-powered products.
The marketplace is now live, and Anthropic says it already features more than 2,000 connectors and plugins.
Claude Marketplace brings major software providers to Claude
Anthropic is working with companies including Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Notion, and Salesforce, whose plugins and connectors are available through the marketplace.
Businesses can also purchase Claude-powered agents and products from partners such as CrowdStrike, Cursor, Harvey, Legora, Lovable, and Snowflake.
In its announcement blog post, Anthropic said the Claude Marketplace also includes consulting and systems integration partners.
These partners include Accenture, Boston Consulting Group, and Deloitte, giving organizations access to help with deploying Claude across their businesses.
Claude has long allowed users to connect the apps they already use. However, Anthropic says the new marketplace will go beyond basic integrations by making it easier to discover and purchase AI tools in one place, similar to the way users find apps through the Google Play Store.
Anthropic wants developers to build for Claude
Support from major companies such as Microsoft and Google may not be enough to make an AI marketplace successful. OpenAI encountered a similar challenge when it launched its app marketplace, which did not succeed.
Anthropic is taking a broader approach by allowing anyone to publish products on the Claude Marketplace. Developers can build connectors and plugins using the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent skills.
Companies that sell software powered by Claude can also apply to have their products listed in the marketplace.
Anthropic says its goal is to help teams find products that already work with Claude while giving developers and partners direct access to existing Claude customers.
How to access the Claude Marketplace
The Claude Marketplace is now available through the Claude website. Whether it becomes a successful destination for Claude integrations and AI agents will depend on how many developers and businesses continue to use it.
