The latest series of iPhone devices was launched in mid-September, with some price increases in the US market.

However, while the final figure is the most talked about, have you ever wondered how much it costs Apple to make an iPhone?

Of course, since there are four models, we also have four different answers. According to an analysis by Nikkei, it was found that the current series of iPhone 15 cost between 8 and 16 percent more to manufacture than the previous models, reports SmartLife.

As expected, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the most expensive phone that Apple makes, and the total cost of materials is $558, which is 12 percent more expensive than the 14 Pro Max model.

The smallest difference compared to the previous generation is visible on the iPhone 15 Pro device, whose components cost $523, which translates to 8 percent more expensive than the 14 Pro model.

When it comes to the iPhone 15 Plus model, it is estimated that Apple had to allocate $442 for its production, i.e. 10 percent more than for the 14 Plus model.

Many will think that the biggest surprise is the regular iPhone 15. This model cost Apple $423 to make, which is 16 percent more than the iPhone 14. However, considering how small the changes were compared to the iPhone 13, how and the fact that the 14 proved to be the highest value phone in the used Apple market, the picture becomes much clearer.

A look at the second analysis, published on November 9 by Counterpoint Research, gives us an insight into which parts have risen in price and which have fallen in price. As expected, Apple had to allocate more money for a better camera sensor, for a titanium case for the needs of the Pro model, as well as for the A17 Pro, the first chipset made on a 3nm manufacturing process. On the other hand, the giant from Cupertino was favored by the lower prices of memory and screens.
