Christina Koch to Join NASA’s Inspiration Tour
As part of NASA’s ongoing Inspiration Tour, Koch will connect with fans and highlight the agency’s return to the Moon through the Artemis program. A self-described Philadelphia sports fan, Koch is an explorer and engineer who spent 338 days in space across two missions.
She also served as a mission specialist on NASA’s Artemis II mission earlier this year. On April 1, Koch launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida aboard the Orion spacecraft atop NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket as part of Artemis II.
Koch and her fellow crew members completed a historic lunar flight, marking the first time humans had returned to the vicinity of the Moon in more than 50 years.
