On July 16th at 5 PM ET, the Republic of Serbia is set to sign the Artemis Accords at an official ceremony at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson will be present alongside Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric and U.S. State Department Assistant Secretary for Oceans, International Environmental, and Scientific Affairs Wesley Brooks.

In 2020, during the first Trump administration, the United States—led by NASA and the State Department—joined seven other founding nations to sign the Artemis Accords, addressing the growing interest in lunar exploration from both governmental and private sectors.
The Artemis Accords introduce a set of groundbreaking principles designed to enhance safety, transparency, and cooperation in private space exploration endeavors, including missions to the Moon and Mars. With this signing, Serbia becomes the 69th nation to endorse the Artemis Accords.
