Adult creators in their 60s and 70s are finding a growing audience on platforms such as OnlyFans, Fansly, Streamates and LoyalFans. Demand for older performers has risen alongside the broader adult-content market: Pornhub told WIRED that searches for “GILF” increased by 129 percent in 2025, while searches such as “naughty grandma” and “grandma sex” ranked highly in Oregon and Maine, respectively.
Custom videos and an older audience
At 72, adult creator DD White regularly spends her afternoons at a computer responding to requests from fans. Some customers want to buy the lingerie she wears in her videos. Others request a “son-in-law video,” in which they pretend to catch their son-in-law looking into their room or shower.
White charges between $30 and $200, depending on a video’s description and length. A customer who wants her to say his name pays more because, as she explains, “you can’t resell it.” Speaking from her home office in Orlando, she says, “I want them to come up to me and say I noticed they were looking at me. That’s how it is.”
One request, however, was new even for White. A customer wanted her to play his mother and describe how he came out of her body while he was having sex with her. “It was really awkward,” she says. White, who has 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, declined the request but says handling unusual demands is part of being a sex worker in her 70s.
“I’m very surprised, but young men really want to be with older women,” White says.
Search interest in mature adult creators
While younger creators are often treated as the most marketable figures on image-driven platforms such as Instagram, a different type of performer is attracting attention: GILFs.
Older creators have increasingly joined adult platforms as demand for explicit content has grown. According to figures Pornhub shared with WIRED, searches for “GILF” rose by 129 percent in 2025, making “mature MILF” one of the site’s leading trends. In the United States, interest in older performers was particularly visible in regional search data. “Naughty grandma” was the top relative search keyword in Oregon last year, while “grandma sex” led in Maine.
White’s work as a cam performer
After reviewing messages during the day, White turns to camming in the evening. “My show,” she calls it. During one broadcast the night after the midterm elections, she wore a silk-and-lace maid outfit and told viewers, “Cum and catch the action”.
White entered the industry at 65, after spending decades working as an accountant. She initially worked for Score Group, a Miami adult media company that operates dozens of pornographic websites, including 60plusmilfs.com.
Today, White works primarily as an independent contractor, distributing content through Streamates, LoyalFans, OnlyFans and her personal website. With help from her daughters, she earns about $12,000 a month. Her daughters coordinate social media posts and assist with creating artwork when needed.
