Revolut customers report payment and app problems
Users in Britain reported Tuesday morning that they were unable to make some payments or access funds through the Revolut app.
Downdetector, a platform that monitors service disruptions, recorded more than 1,500 user reports of issues with Revolut shortly after 08:00 BST.
A Revolut spokesperson told the BBC: “We are currently experiencing a service disruption affecting multiple services.” The company added that “all customer funds and data are safe”.
“We have been working to resolve this issue since it was identified this morning. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to everyone affected,” the spokesperson said.
Which Revolut services are affected?
A status page on Revolut’s website showed that several services were “partially unavailable”. Reported problems included:
- Card payments
- Bank transfers
- ATM withdrawals
- Customer support services
Many users criticized Revolut on social media, saying they could not access funds, make payments or contact customer support during the outage.
