GeForce NOW Adds DLSS 4.5 Controls, Enshrouded 1.0 and Boltgun 2
GeForce NOW members can fine-tune the look and performance of supported games with new NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls. The update gives players more control over cloud gaming visuals and responsiveness, even without the latest local hardware.
This week also brings the full 1.0 release of Enshrouded and the launch of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. Both games are available to stream on GeForce NOW at launch.
Ten new games are joining the cloud this week, allowing members to play across supported devices without downloads, installations or expensive hardware upgrades. Check the supported devices for more information.
Customize supported games with DLSS 4.5 controls
NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 controls are now available on GeForce NOW. Members can choose how supported games look and perform in the cloud, regardless of whether they own the latest hardware.
DLSS Super Resolution sharpens image quality, while dynamic multi-frame generation helps reduce latency and stuttering for smoother streaming. Ray reconstruction enhances ray-traced visuals. Members using Ultimate plans on cloud rigs powered by GeForce RTX 5080 can access the broadest range of options, including up to 4x dynamic multi-frame generation.
Supported games include 007 First Light, which features path tracing support, and Resident Evil Requiem. Players can use the controls to prioritize image quality, responsiveness or a balance between the two.
The new settings are available in the GeForce NOW app on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and SteamOS. Members can learn more about using the DLSS 4.5 features with their membership tier.
Enshrouded leaves early access
Enshrouded reaches its 1.0 release, moving from early access to a full cooperative survival action RPG. Players become the Flameborn, the last hope of a dying race, and explore a vast world where a once-beautiful kingdom has been consumed by corrupting mists.
The 1.0 update expands existing systems and introduces new combat content, including nine new spells, new wizard and archer skills, reworked staffs, and upgradeable eternal spells and arrows. New enemy variants add variety to encounters, while new biomes raise the player level cap to 50 and the equipment cap to 55.
Enshrouded 1.0 is available for cloud play on supported devices at launch. GeForce NOW members can skip the 60GB local installation and save storage space while avoiding download and update wait times.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 launches on GeForce NOW
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 is now streaming on GeForce NOW. The fast-paced retro first-person shooter sequel features more enemies, more weapons and new ways to purge the enemies of the Imperium.
Following the original game, the branching single-player campaign takes the battle into a dark new world. Players can choose between Malum Caedo, the fearsome Sternguard veteran, and Nyra Veilas, the nimble Battle Sister. Each character offers different abilities, weapons and playstyles.
New enemies and environments include towering hive cities and jungle mangrove swamps. GeForce NOW lets members start their campaigns in the cloud without upgrading a local gaming rig or waiting for a lengthy installation.
