JustWatch TV Expands Streaming Lineup and Advertising Business
JustWatch TV reportedly offers “hundreds of titles” across various content tiers, according to Quentin Carbonell, senior vice president at JustWatch, in comments to Stream TV Insider.
The new streaming service currently has 30 content partners worldwide, including Paramount and New Regency, with additional partners expected to join.
JustWatch TV aims to strengthen JustWatch’s advertising business
JustWatch Group describes the streaming service as a “logical addition” to its streaming guide and says it will support the company’s growing advertising business.
By adding viewing activity to its existing audience data, JustWatch TV is expected to provide deeper insights for JustWatch Media, the group’s campaign planning and buying service. The service supports film marketing campaigns across digital platforms such as YouTube, Meta and TikTok for studios, distributors, streaming services and media agencies.
JustWatch Group’s advertising business already uses first-party audience data from the JustWatch Streaming Guide to support advertising for studios, distributors, streaming platforms and media companies. The company says its streaming guide has 50 million customers.
“From the beginning, our vision has been to create a single platform that directs fans to all their entertainment options in one place,” JustWatch Group founder and CEO David Croyé said in a statement.
“JustWatch TV helps bridge that gap, making it easy for JustWatch’s massive audience to discover and watch great movies and series, including hard-to-find titles, directly from the app itself.”
JustWatch targets 100 million monthly users
JustWatch TV aims to reach 100 million monthly users “over the next few years,” Carbonell told StreamTV Insider.
