Stickers can be an affordable way for children to decorate everyday items while supporting independent artists. Stickii Club costs $12 a month and sends themed sticker sheets plus stationery, while Pipsticks offers an alternative subscription with a broader assortment of kids’ activities and collectibles.
Stickii Club offers artist-designed sticker subscriptions
My kids’ enthusiasm for stickers seems endless. We find them on mirrors at home, school planners, water bottles, the backs of chairs and even inside our cars. Stickers are also an accessible way to support independent artists: even if you cannot afford an art print or T-shirt, you can often display an artist’s work for a few dollars.
For $12 a month, Stickii Club offers three sticker styles: cute, vintage and pop. Each subscription also includes storage sleeves and three stationery items, such as notepads, cards and stamps. The club works with independent artists and illustrators to create sheets of original designs, with no AI-generated art yet.
I tried the Pop subscription and was impressed by the quality and variety. The monthly sheets include both vinyl and transparent stickers, all featuring intricate designs. The artists’ names are printed in the corners, making it possible to research their work. My kids were so excited about the stickers that they traded them with each other like currency.
I am currently investing in a Stickii Folio, starting at $18, to organize the collection. I also hope to put some stickers on my laptop while I work.
An alternative: Pipsticks Kids Club
One limitation of Stickii Club is that you cannot choose the style of the box. The Pipsticks Kids Club Sticker Pack costs $20 and includes 15 Pip stickers, collectible stickers, postcards, an activity book and more. With such a wide selection, children are likely to find designs they enjoy.
I have two kids who love stickers, but even we found the Classic pack somewhat overwhelming. Pipsticks also offers a Petit Pack option for $14.
