The 43-year-old said: “The waste being dumped was once mainly agricultural, but it now includes builders’ waste and household items such as mattresses and fridge freezers.
“The illegal waste has continued to grow, with the site becoming increasingly out of control.”
In July, Ms Carr reported the illegal waste dumping to the Environment Agency (EA). The agency said it was aware of the site and had referred the case to its Area Enforcement Team.
In an email to Ms Carr, the EA said: “We take illegal waste offences seriously and will use the powers available to us to investigate and, where appropriate, take enforcement action against those responsible.”
