NVIDIA is showcasing the next generation of RTX gaming technology at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. The company’s latest announcements include support for new PC games, native anti-cheat technology, enhanced ray tracing, improved image quality and expanded AI-powered gaming features.
Leading publishers and developers, including Electronic Arts, Embark Studios and Ubisoft, are bringing major titles to NVIDIA RTX Spark devices ahead of the platform’s planned launch this fall. They join publishers that announced RTX Spark support at COMPUTEX in May, including KRAFTON, NetEase, Riot Games and Xbox.
NVIDIA RTX Spark is designed to deliver high-performance gaming, AI-powered applications and advanced content creation on the next generation of Windows PCs.
NVIDIA is working closely with game developers and ecosystem partners to ensure popular PC games run smoothly on RTX Spark devices. Supported titles include EA EA Sports F1 25 and Apex Legends, Ubisoft’s Anno 117: Pax Romana, and Embark Studios’ ARC Raiders and Final Match.
“We are excited to bring Anno 117: Pax Romana to a new generation of RTX-powered PCs,” said Ubisoft Executive Producer Stefan Jankowski. “Our team is building the game to display entire districts, long sightlines and thousands of details at once. It is truly impressive to see RTX Spark maintain this level of visual fidelity on a single chip.”
RTX Spark reimagines personal computing by combining personal AI agents, advanced content creation tools and high-performance gaming in a platform built for the next wave of Windows PCs. For gamers, RTX Spark brings together Windows devices, NVIDIA RTX technology, DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex.
NVIDIA RTX Spark adds native anti-cheat support
Supporting modern PC games involves more than simply running the titles. Many of the world’s most popular online games depend on advanced anti-cheat systems to maintain fair play across PCs and other gaming platforms.
NVIDIA has worked with Electronic Arts to bring native EA Javelin Anticheat support to RTX Spark. The technology will support EA’s major multiplayer titles, including EA Sports F1 25. RTX Spark is expected to be available this fall.
NVIDIA RTX technology enables next-generation gaming
RTX Spark is only one part of NVIDIA’s broader Gamescom gaming announcements. The company also highlighted new games, graphics technologies and cloud gaming updates, including:
- DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction: Available now, NVIDIA’s latest second-generation Transformer model improves image quality in ray-traced and path-traced games. It replaces traditional denoising techniques with an AI network trained on NVIDIA supercomputers to reconstruct high-quality pixels in areas where rays were not sampled.
- Path tracing: Full path tracing is coming to Control Resonant and 007 First Light, delivering a new level of lighting, reflections and overall visual fidelity.
- NVIDIA ACE: NVIDIA ACE technology is coming to Animo in early 2027, allowing players to interact more naturally with their creatures.
- Gears of War: E-Day will feature RTX Mega Geometry. The technology is designed to improve geometric detail and image quality on GeForce RTX GPUs while working alongside ray tracing and DLSS 4.5.
- RTX Remix: NVIDIA continues to support remastered versions of classic PC games. Updates for the Painkiller RTX mod are now available, while The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind RTX is coming soon.
- GeForce NOW: NVIDIA is adding new DLSS 4.5 controls for members, expanding support for Steam Machine and other devices and platforms, and bringing blockbuster PC games such as Control Resonant and Gears of War: E-Day to the cloud. Additional features will be available at launch.
