Police Investigate Three Companies Linked to Illegal Waste Activities, Seizing Over £275,000
West Mercia Police have announced the identification of additional criminal activities during their investigations in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and Shropshire.
Authorities indicated that further assets are under scrutiny, and a money laundering investigation is currently active.
This investigation follows the arrest of two men at a residence in Drakes Broughton, Worcestershire, in January, where six firearms and approximately £18,000 in cash were confiscated.
Another site involved in this extensive investigation was a farm in Peopleton, Worcestershire, where electronic items suspected of being linked to money laundering were uncovered.
Officers also recovered about £60,000 in cash and a vehicle believed to be stolen during the operation.
A spokesperson from the police emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing due to the “complexity and the number of suspects involved.”
