WIRED’s Featured Wearable Deals
Updated October 7: Added new deals for Google Fitbit, Amazfit, Garmin, and Samsung. We also updated prices and removed discontinued items.
Apple Watch Series 12 Is Already Discounted
Apple Watch Series 12: about $50 off.
We’re surprised to see Apple’s latest watch discounted so quickly, so this deal may not last long. The Apple Watch Series 12 is currently available for about $50 off, bringing it to $350 at Amazon. That’s the lowest price we’ve seen for this model.
Similar discounts may appear around Black Friday, but they aren’t guaranteed. If you want Apple’s latest smartwatch, this Prime Day deal is a good reason to buy now.
Google Fitbit Charge 6 Is Almost Half Price
Google Fitbit Charge 6: $90.
The Google Fitbit Charge 6 is one of our favorite entry-level fitness trackers. It includes essential features such as heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and skin temperature sensing.
At $90 for a limited time, the Charge 6 is a relatively affordable way to try health tracking before spending more on a premium smartwatch. The Fitbit Inspire 3 is also discounted to $70. It offers a similar experience but lacks built-in GPS and NFC, and includes 20 exercise modes instead of 40.
Save $65 on the Google Pixel Watch 5
Google Pixel Watch 5: $335, down from $400.
Google released its latest Pixel Watch this summer, and it’s now available at a $65 discount. The Pixel Watch 5 is popular among WIRED’s Android users and works well as both a fitness tracker and sleep tracker.
It’s also the second Pixel Watch designed to be repairable and built to last. The featured deal is for the 41-mm, Wi-Fi model from Amazon.
The Best-Value Apple Watch Deal
Apple Watch SE 3: $200 for GPS, or $249 for GPS plus Cellular.
The Apple Watch SE 3 is already the most affordable Apple Watch, and this discount makes it an even stronger value. It offers virtually everything the average iPhone user needs from a smartwatch and fitness tracker, unless you’re an elite athlete or regularly go off the grid.
This is a previous-generation model, and Apple didn’t update the SE this year, so it doesn’t include newer features such as Audio Intelligence. Even so, the Apple Watch SE 3 is difficult to beat for the price.
Save Up to $221 on Samsung Galaxy Watch
Samsung Galaxy Watch8: $209, or Galaxy Watch7: $159.
After testing Samsung’s latest Galaxy Watch, we think the company’s previous models still have plenty of life left in them. The Galaxy Watch8 is reduced to $209, a $91 discount from its original price and $171 less than its successor.
For even greater savings, the Galaxy Watch7 costs just $159. That’s $91 off its original price and $221 less than the Galaxy Watch9. You won’t get the newest health metrics, such as antioxidant index or heart health score, but you will get a durable, well-built smartwatch.
Unless you need the most advanced health tracking, choosing one of these older Galaxy Watch models could save you money.
A Smartwatch for Just $59
CMF Watch 3 Pro: $59.
Our pick for a low-cost smartwatch is now just $59, which is less than the price of many drop-in fitness classes. Don’t let the low price fool you: The CMF Watch 3 Pro includes wrist-based controls, a built-in microphone for voice calls, and a voice assistant.
It also offers a broad range of health and fitness metrics, dual-band GPS for more accurate route tracking, and a retro-futuristic design with plenty of personality.
