Urevo CyberPad: A Walking Pad With a 14% Incline

The Urevo CyberPad is a strong walking pad choice, largely because of its 14 percent incline—the highest seen in the tests described here. The product listing shows a sale price of $368, while the accompanying copy cites $387. Either price is presented as a compelling alternative to waiting for Black Friday.

WIRED reviewer Kristin Canning says the walking pad is easy to set up and control with either a remote or an app. Its sturdy construction and comfortable belt support a stable workout experience. The treadmill reaches a top speed of 4 mph, and its incline can be adjusted to 9 percent or 14 percent depending on your posture.

The Urevo CyberPad weighs 71 pounds and includes wheels to help with portability. It is stable, but its weight may make it difficult to move. The walking pad is also not the quietest option, although it should not be disruptive while you work or read.

Urevo CyberPad Pros and Cons

• Pros: 14 percent incline, easy setup and controls, durable and stable construction
• Cons: Limited speed range, could be quieter, too tall to store under furniture
