Google’s Pixel 11 lineup is seeing substantial discounts well ahead of Black Friday, as slowing smartphone sales and tighter consumer budgets prompt manufacturers to cut prices earlier than usual. The range includes the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold, with discounts of $200, $300, $350 and $250 respectively.
Smartphone buyers traditionally had to wait several months after launch for significant price reductions. This year, however, manufacturers have moved faster, with some $100 price increases across the industry—attributed to “AI-induced memory starvation”—being partly offset by early promotions.
The biggest Pixel 11 discounts
The largest savings apply to Google’s most powerful and expensive models, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL. Amazon lists the Pixel 11 Pro at $799, reduced from $1,099, while the Pixel 11 Pro XL is listed at $949, reduced from $1,299. Best Buy also lists the 256-GB Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099 and the 256-GB Pixel 11 Pro XL at $1,299.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL combine polished designs, bright and colorful displays, and versatile camera systems. Their cameras offer faster low-light performance and a powerful telephoto lens for long-distance zooming. The displays are brighter than before and include a customizable HiLight LED on the back, although the light is described as somewhat underpowered.
Google’s AI tools include proactive assistance, improved conversational capabilities and photography features such as Magic Capture, which automatically takes photos and videos. The Pixel line is also described as the only major Android smartphone family with full Qi2 support, including built-in magnets for easier accessory alignment.
Pixel 11 offers the best value
The standard Pixel 11 uses the same Tensor G6 chipset as the Pro models and includes the same smart features and Qi2 support at up to 25W. It offers a similar everyday experience at a lower price, along with more colorful finishes, including Hibiscus bright pink, Pistachio warm green, Frost pale lavender and Obsidian black.
With its compact size and lower cost, the Pixel 11 is positioned as the sweet spot in Google’s current lineup for most buyers, at least until less expensive A-series models arrive. Its discount is $200.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold gets a foldable upgrade
Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold receives substantial hardware improvements, including an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and a more durable design. It has two OLED displays: an 8-inch internal screen and a 6.5-inch cover screen.
The foldable does not include the more advanced cameras found on the Pro models, but it offers the same AI features and overall refinement as Google’s premium phones. Although its launch price was considered high, the $250 discount makes the Pixel 11 Pro Fold more appealing.
All four Pixel 11 models are discounted before Black Friday, giving shoppers an opportunity to save on Google’s latest smartphones earlier than expected.
