My Favorite Vacuum Is $550 Off for Prime Day—But Not for Long

Good vacuum Seriously improve your life and home. Amazon’s Prime Day vacuum deals are ending soon, so this is your chance to save on a vacuum cleaner personally tested and recommended by WIRED.

As WIRED’s resident vacuum expert and tester, I’ve tested dozens of vacuum cleaners this year, including cordless stick vacuums, Dyson models, and robot vacuums. At one point this summer, I had at least 13 different vacuum cleaners in my house for testing.

I’ve convinced everyone in my life to upgrade, and no one who followed my advice has had any regrets. One friend calls her robot vacuum the savior of her marriage, while another loves hers so much that she bought one for each floor of her house. Upgrading a stick vacuum can also make a noticeable difference: when I asked a friend to test the new Dyson V8 Cyclone against the old V8 she had used for years, the improvement was immediately clear.

These Prime Day vacuum deals include only vacuum cleaners that we’ve tested and recommend, even if they aren’t currently discounted. Amazon’s fall shopping event is now called Prime Big Deal Day.

For more savings, check out our coverage of the best Prime Day deals and follow our Prime Day live blog, which is live for the rest of today.

Updated October 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET: We confirmed that all listed deals are still active and added more discounts on Shark, Dyson, and Bissell before Prime Day ends today.
