Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime membership and offers original movies and series, including Fallout and Spread, along with other movies and shows.

Alexa+

Grubhub+

Amazon Prime members receive free access to Grubhub+. Benefits include free delivery on select orders and Prime-only discounts at participating restaurants throughout the year.

Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods and grocery delivery

With Amazon Fresh, you can order groceries for delivery, although availability varies by region. Select Whole Foods products may also be available through Amazon Fresh.

When shopping in person at Whole Foods, scan the Amazon app to receive an additional 10% off storewide sale items and access other member discounts. Whole Foods also offers exclusive Prime sales on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Amazon Grocery Subscription

The separate Amazon Grocery Subscription costs $10 per month or $100 per year. Customers who receive SNAP or EBT benefits may qualify for 50% off the monthly plan. The subscription includes unlimited free grocery delivery on orders over $25 from Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh and other participating services.

Amazon Prime family benefits

Amazon Family allows you to share certain Prime benefits with one other adult in your household. The program also supports child profiles and, according to the article, up to four teenagers added before April 7, 2025. Amazon no longer allows customers to add new teen accounts.

Free books, magazines and comics with Prime

Amazon First Reads

Each month, Prime members can choose at least one selected Kindle book for free through Amazon First Reads. You can read Kindle books on a phone or computer without owning a Kindle device. Nonmembers can purchase two selected books for $2 each.

Prime Reading

Prime Reading offers access to more than 1,000 books and other items, including audiobooks, magazines and comics. Members can also access Comixology.

Prime Gaming and Amazon Luna

Prime Gaming, formerly known as Twitch Prime, provides monthly rewards. The Prime Gaming page may redirect to Amazon Luna, but members can still claim eligible rewards.

Video game preorder savings

Prime members can receive a $10 discount when preordering eligible video games. Some titles also offer free delivery on release day. Look for the qualifying shipping option when placing a preorder.

Unlimited Amazon Photos storage

Prime members receive unlimited full-resolution photo storage plus 5GB of video storage. The Amazon Photos app lets you save, print and share photos while backing them up to the cloud.

Printing is handled through Shutterfly. Prime members receive a 45% discount and free shipping on orders over $35. If you cancel Prime, you must pay at least $2 per month to continue storing photos and videos, so Amazon Photos should not be your only backup method.

Discounted Amazon Kids+

Amazon Kids+, formerly called FreeTime Unlimited, is Amazon’s children’s content service. It works with select iOS, Android and Amazon devices, including Fire tablets.

The service includes parental controls and age-appropriate shows, books, games and other content. Amazon Kids+ costs $8 per month for non-Prime customers, while Prime members pay $6 per month. Annual pricing is $79 for nonmembers and $48 for Prime members.

Fuel savings for Prime members

By linking an Amazon Prime account to Earnify, the loyalty app owned by BP, members can save at least 10 cents per gallon on up to 7,500 gallons of fuel at participating gas stations.

Additional Amazon Prime benefits

Free baby registry welcome box

Some Prime members may qualify for a free baby registry welcome box after creating a registry with at least 10 unique items and $10 in purchases made by the registry owner or other customers. See Amazon’s current terms for eligibility and details.

Prime Rx prescription discounts

Prime Rx offers prescription drug discounts to eligible customers. The prescription savings card can be used at pharmacies nationwide, including Amazon Pharmacy.

Similar prescription discount programs are available elsewhere, including GoodRx. Prime Rx is free to use, so it may be worth checking if you regularly pay high prices for prescription medication. Sharing medication information with Amazon may raise privacy concerns, so consider that before using the service.
