Multifrequency beam waveguide antennas are among the versatile technologies used by the Deep Space Network. These advanced DSN dishes can support spacecraft missions operating across multiple radio frequencies.
NASA’s Deep Space Network tracks spacecraft across vast distances, transmits commands, and receives valuable scientific data from robotic missions. The DSN is managed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, a division of Caltech, for NASA’s Space Communications and Navigation (SCaN) program. SCaN is part of NASA’s Space Operations Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters.
