Apple’s second-generation AirTag is currently available for $23, down from its usual $29 price. The discount is comparable to the lowest price tracked, while a four-pack costs $89. The Bluetooth tracker works with Apple’s Find My app and can help locate luggage, keys, wallets, bags, vehicles, and other belongings.

I did not understand the enthusiasm for Apple’s AirTag until I began testing one for work. Since then, I have recommended the trackers to anyone willing to listen. Members of my review team also use the quarter-sized devices to keep track of suitcases while traveling.
AirTag is a Bluetooth tracker that can be added to Apple’s Find My app. If an airline misplaces your luggage, you can check its location before contacting customer service, rather than panicking while trying to find it. In my case, I keep an AirTag hidden in my car so I can remember which block I parked on after leaving it there for a few days.
You can attach an AirTag to keys, a diaper bag, a wallet, or a dog’s collar and view its location through the Find My app. Its battery lasts several months and is easy to replace. The device also includes a built-in speaker that produces loud audible alerts to help you locate an item nearby.
You can share an AirTag’s location with an airline or with contacts, allowing other people to help find a misplaced item. For added protection, you may want to use an AirTag holder. One option is available from Nomad; I use a holder on my keychain.
